Labor Union partnership

Labor unions have stood with March of Dimes since our inception

For nearly 85 years, they have been rooted in our shared values of family and equity.

We’re proud to have strong and long-standing partnerships with unions, dating back to 1938 when United Auto Workers (UAW) joined our cause to support the dime drive launched by President Roosevelt to end polio. Today, we have multiple international labor partners, and union liaisons hold key positions on March of Dimes committees and boards across the country.

A partnership with March of Dimes means ensuring the families you care about most have equitable access to the resources and support they need for the best possible start.

Benefits for your members

You work for families, and so do we.  Every day, we fight to:

  • Support parents throughout their pregnancies with resources and education;
  • Advocate for policies that prioritize maternal and infant health and advance health equity;
  • Support improvements to the care families receive through innovative programs;
  • Pioneer research to find solutions to the biggest health threats to moms and babies.

Ways to Partner

Everything we do is made possible thanks to the caring organizations that  partner with us, and we’re proud to showcase their support! There are many ways to get involved and help families.

We’ll help you build a successful fundraising strategy that fits your needs,  and we’ll walk with you every step of the way. We also offer ways to engage your membership through volunteer and advocacy opportunities.
